New Programs for CA

Here are some updates on two important new programs in the CA solar space.  The next up PPA winning opportunity of significance is the SCE SPVP IPP program with a submission date of Dec. 2nd.

Below is a nice summary from one of our Solar Land Partner’s team members to refresh you memory of that program.

SPVP Summary

The newest possibly good program for CA are the “shared renewables” SB 43 legislation  programs that will appear for PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E.  This will enable new solar sites of up to 20MW whose energy would be sold to customers by subscription to partially offset their utility bill .  Of course the best version of that is the MA Virtual Net Meeting program that is operating and producing many opportunities for projects there.

The particular implementations of the three utilities is allowed to be different, so understand the details and preparing your projects for this new opportunity are key.

Of course contact us to help in getting the best of this new market.
